Mary McEntee Lester of Venice, FL, died on February 18, 2015. Mary was born in Franklin, NJ on February 2, 1926 to Marie and William McEntee. She married Dr. E.F. Lester in 1946. They moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he practiced medicine until he passed away in 1981. Mary continued to live in Oklahoma City until she moved to Venice in 1994. Mary, a registered nurse, was a supervising nurse in Oklahoma and a clinical trial nurse in Florida. She is survived by her three children, Patricia (Michael) Clowdus, Ann (King) Anderson and Greg (Pam) Lester, along with three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mary was one of eight children, Catherine and J. Richard, who predeceased her, Dolores Morrow, William McEntee, Robert McEntee, Margaret Ann Lakin and Patricia Gordon. There will be a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes in Venice at 11AM on Monday February 23. She will be interned in Oklahoma City along side her husband at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities
