Francis Thomas ""Frank"" DeRosa, 93, died suddenly on February 11, 2015 in Venice, FL. A resident of Point Pleasant, NJ, Frank was a ""snowbird"" in Venice for the past 12 years. Frank grew up in Jersey City and as a young man was active in sports. He also coached basketball and softball. He attended St. Peter's College after which he started his career at the Colgate Palmolive Company. He became a purchasing agent at the company for more than 30 years. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ginny; and a nephew William and niece Donna. Frank's only sister, Rose, died on February 13, 2015 in Wilson, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on March 2nd at 10AM at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice. A Memorial Service will take place at St. Martha's Church in Point Pleasant, NJ at a future time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saint John's University, 8000 Utopia Parkway, Jamaica, NY 11439.
