Online Obituaries for Frankfort, KY Dearey, Rev. John Howard, 76, died Sunday, May 1, 2016. Born December 24, 1939 in New Brunswick, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard and Elsie Gillum Dearey. Rev. Dearey was a veteran having served in the US Army. He was a devout Christian, missionary, retired minister, and upon retirement a long time employee of the YMCA in Frankfort, KY. He is survived by two children, Ruth Esther Kingan and Adriana Marie Soltau, one sibling Francis Robert Dearey his wife Kathleen Loezuis Dearey, their three children, Bob Dearey, Erin Dearey-Schempp, Maureen Mawby and his four grandchildren, John Bruce Kingan, Christine Kingan, James David Kingan, and Kaydence Soltau. Funeral Information Celebration of his life and visitation with friends and family will take place May 21, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Versailles, KY followed by a service at 5:00.
