Arlo Gene Lundberg died on Sunday, October 5th. Mr. Lundberg was born on October 14, 1924 in Moline Illinois. Arlo graduated from Rock Island High School (Illinois). He attended St Ambrose College in Davenport Iowa and graduated from the University of Illinois. Arlo was a resident of Venice FL for 15 years. His last residence was at the Windsor of Venice. He was a metallurgical engineer at John Deere in Moline IL and Dubuque IA for a total of 35 years, retiring in 1984. He is survived by his wife Barbara Lenore (Davis) Lundberg, sons Jay (& wife Laura) and Byron (and wife Gina), 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Chicago White Sox. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 7 PM, Tuesday, October 7 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel.
