John Patton, 87, of Venice, FL, formerly of Belfast, Northern Ireland died on September 23, 2014. He was a member of the Epiphany Cathedral, Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick, Venice Yacht Club, a Parade Master for Venice St. Patrick's Day Parade, and a past member of the Elks' Lodge in New Jersey. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Rosaleen Frances Patton of Venice, FL; daughter, Eileen Patton (Ben) Woodbury of Santa Fe, NM; son, Brian Gerald (Rebecca) Patton of Katy, TX; daughter, Rosaleen Patton (Frank) Kernan of New Windsor, NY; daughter, Maureen Patton (Frank) Poalillo of Brick, NJ; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Friday, September 26 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Epiphany Cathedral on Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 AM followed by Graveside Service at Venice Memorial Gardens
