Online Obituaries for Versailles Thomas E. Liles, 65, husband of Anna Carpenter Liles, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at his residence in Versailles. He was born in Garrison, Kentucky, August 30, 1950, to the late Estle and Glendora Ginn Liles. He was an employee of the LFUCG, for 32 years, retiring as a Department Manager of Fleet Services. He enjoyed going to his summer home in Garrison, Kentucky and riding his boat on the Ohio River after his retirement. He also collected small Nascar cars and watching Nascar races. Surviving besides his wife are his two daughters; Christy {Shane} Mayberry, Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Sheri {Mark} Adkins, Grove City, Ohio, his sister; Carol Callahan, Ocala, Florida, his two step-sons; Ernest Taylor and Donnie Johnson both of Lexington, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Lloyd and Dixie Carpenter, Versailles. He will be missed by his two best friends, who tried to comfort him in his illness, his two dogs; Goliath and Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters; Linda Lyons, South Shore, Kentucky, Barbara Lands, Morehead, and a step-son; Keith Taylor, Lexington. Funeral Information His Celebration of Life service will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing conducted by Brother Joe Collins, Danny Toler and Ernie Brown. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday December 5, 2015.
