Online Obituaries for Nicholasville Mary Cathryn Lester, 73, widow of Gene Lester, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her residence in Nicholasville. She was born in London, Kentucky, daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Rhoda Elizabeth Ingold Boone. She was a former Payroll Clerk and Secretary for Broyles Swimming Pool. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and watching Days of Our Lives.She is survived by her daughter, Donna Jean Lester {George William} Dietz, Nicholasville; sister, Teresa {John} McDonald, brother, William Boone, all of Lexington; three grandchildren, Dennis {Kalina} Lester, Lexington; Amanda {Eyon} McCann, Travis {Jessika} Dietz, all of Nicholasville; and six great grandchildren, Kaelyn Lester, Brylee Lester, Kaden Lester, David McCann, Aubrie McCann and Nicholas Dietz. Funeral Information Her visitation will be 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center- Brannon Crossing followed by her service at 1p.m. with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Dennis Lester, Travis Dietz, Kendall McDonald, Johnny McDonald, James Boone and Joey Eversole. Honorary casket bearers will be Zack Shyrock, Daniel DeLafuente, David Mccann and Kaden Lester.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Care Navigators [Hospice}. www.clarklegacycenter.com
