Ruth Ava (Titcomb) Eaton, 88 of North Port, FL passed away Tuesday July 8, 2014 at the Port Charlotte Tidewell Hospice House. Ruth was born on September 14, 1925 in Washington, DC and grew up in Kensington, MD. She was a happy loving spirit caring for her family and always ready to make a new friend. Ruth was the beloved mother of three sons and their families; Lawrence H Eaton Jr. (Nancy) of Manchester, CT, Sidney B Eaton (Mary) of Port Charlotte, FL, Allan W Eaton (deceased); six grand children and eight great grand children. A memorial service will be held at St Mary's Episcopal Church located at 41 Park St, Manchester, CT 06040 on Aug. 8 at 11am. The family will hold a private cemetery service at Vittium Hill Cemetery in NH. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Tidewell Hospice at www.tidewell.org
