Shirley Ann Ethington

Shelbyville- Shirley Ann Ethington, 74, wife of Leonard Ethington, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. She was born in Shelbyville, KY on October 3, 1943 to the late Georgie Brawner Hedges and Earl Hedges. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Penny (Jimmy) Miller, Cropper; son Curtis (Lea) Ethington, Henry Co.; sisters Debbie Strucker, Shelbyville; Sandy Roberts, Shelbyville; brothers Dallas Hedges, Lexington; Ray Hedges, Louisville; Stevie Hedges, AZ; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Midway Cemetery. Brother Jesse Baxter will officiate. Serving as casketbearers will be Jimmy Miller, Nicholas Holcomb, Andrew Mason, Jeff Biggs, Bobby Roberts, and C.D. Ethington. Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2018 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
