Susan Slattery Hancock: born August 5, 1950. To Charles and Ruth Slattery passed away on February. 24th 2018. Susan leaves behind her husband of 47 years Pat, three children Jennifer (Billy), Joe (Carita) and Jeff (Erika). Grandchildren Lauren, Katherine, Charlie, Ty, Pauli, Houston and Lindsey. Great grandchildren Xavier and Owen. Her sister Barbara Quinn.and several nieces and nephews. Susan along with her husband owned and managed Whitehead-Hancock plumbing, heating and cooling. Susan was the river mother of many young boaters throughout the years. And she was the Admiral of all of the Little Rascalâs. She enjoyed boating and being with her family. A Mass of celebration with Father Charles Howell will be held at 1:00pm on February 28, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. The family requests that everyone wear pink to the gathering. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
