Terrence Dean Taylor

Terry was born June 9, 1946, in Seattle, WA to Betty and Dean Taylor. He grew up in the Ballard Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle. In 1964 he graduated from Ballard High School. He went to work for Totem Pontiac in Seattle as an apprentice mechanic. In early 1966 he joined the Army National Guard and on November 25, 1966 he married his high school sweetheart, Ruth. July of 1971 they welcomed their son Matthew, and in March of 1973 their son Mark. Terrys family was the joy of his life. He was very proud of his sons and his grandchildren. His grandchildren brought him smiles, laughter and so much love. He loved spending time with family and friends, good times at Blue Lake, boating, picnics, long walks, riding bikes and helping others. He could fix almost anything from cars to decks or remodeling our house. He loved to go cruising in the 51 Mercury or the 67 GTO. Terry was a hard worker and a loyal employee. He worked for Chuck Olson Chevrolet for 30 years.Terry leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Ruth; son, Matt; grandchildren Summer and Luke; son, Mark (Alex); grandson, Lane; brother, Wayne; brother, Kelley; as well as many relatives and very dear friends.Terry was a generous, goodhearted man and will be missed.Terry you will be in my heart forever, Love RuthIn lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in memory of Terry.
