Mary Elizabeth Redmon Thompson

Frankfort – Mary Elizabeth Redmon Thompson, 86, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. She was born in Woodford County on September 30, 1931 to the late Walter and Betty Huffman Redmon. She worked as a secretary for the State of Kentucky and was a member of Westview Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Mark Shannon Thompson, Frankfort, and Troy Landon Thompson, Louisville; her sister, Edith Clark, Frankfort; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Landon Thompson, Jake Anthony Thompson, and Madison Marie Thompson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Willis; and her brothers, Robert Redmon and Leroy Redmon. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Sunset Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Gary Hager officiating. Serving as casketbearers will be Troy Thompson, Mark Thompson, Benjamin Thompson, and Jake Thompson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
