William Lloyd Evans, 69, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2018. A native of Lebanon, Kentucky, he was born November 1, 1948 to the late Cleo and Betty Wilham Evans. Loving father and grandfather, William was a kind hearted man who couldn’t tell anyone “No”. On the weekends, he could be found making his rounds at any one of his siblings’ homes, fishing, or playing golf, he was always going. He was well loved by all and will be missed greatly. William is survived by his children, Melissa (Troy) Harper, Frankfort, Michelle (Brian) Nichols, Lawrenceburg, and Michael Evans, Frankfort; sisters, Jean Evans, Georgetown and Phyllis McIntosh, Georgetown; brothers, Billy Evans, Georgetown, Junior (Judy) Evans, Versailles, and Denis Evans, Georgetown; grandchildren, Samuel, Leann, Stephanie, Courtney, Matthew, Tyler, Tanner, Taylor, Maylia, and Brian, Jr; and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Cleo and Betty, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Evans, Betty Evans, and Lisa Evans; and brothers, Hughie Evans and Buddy Evans. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Versailles Church of God, 282 Douglas Ave, Versailles, with Bro. Frank Lane officiating.
