Thomas Dudley Wilson
January 14th, 1944 - March 30th, 2019
Thomas Dudley Wilson, 75, husband of Shirley Wiseman Wilson, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home. Tom was born in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Wilbur and Louise Wilson. He enjoyed being a realtor for over 50 years in the Lexington area and recently retired from Rector-Hayden Realtors. Tom was happiest when spending time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Tom loved meeting new people, studying history, reading, listening to music and working on his model trains. Past church memberships include St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and Christ Church Cathedral, both in Lexington. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Wilson; his two daughters, Jennifer (Jimmie) Marcum, Lexington and Melissa (Gerald) Calia, Lexington; three grandchildren, Lindsey Elizabeth Marcum, Lauren Danielle Marcum and Brandon Thomas Calia; brother-in-law, Roger Wiseman, Cincinnati, OH; sister-in-law, JoAnne Wiseman, Cincinnati, OH; cousin, Jean Harney, Danville, KY, as well as several other cousins. Visitation for Tom Wilson will be Friday, April 5, 2019 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm by Rev. Will Witherington. Burial to follow at Lexington Cemetery Lake Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132 or Bluegrass Care Navigators, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
