Larry Kenneth Worthington passed away on March 2nd 2012 at the age of 62. Larry was born to Billi and the late Ralph Worthington Sr. on June 5th 1949 in Tampa, Florida. He was married to Mary Worthington in Seattle, Washington. Larry is survived by his children; Larry Worthington Jr., Heather Arce; Heidi Inlow; Garret Worthington; Connor Worthington and Molly Fallen and his grandchildren; Hannah; Haley and Austin Inlow and Ophelia; Cole and Chayce Worthington. His siblings, Ralph Worthington Jr., Francine Worthington and Eddie Worthington also survive Larry. Larry was a patriot; he had a long and distinguished career serving his country. His notable positions include a Marine; during this time he served in Vietnam as part of the 2d reconnaissance. He was a Police Officer for the City of Sarasota and served in the Sarasota Sheriff’s Office holding several posts as a Deputy, a Detective and a Narcotics Officer. Larry also held two positions while working as a Federal agent; initially working for NCIS as part of the West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team and later following the 9/11 attacks he acted as an Air Marshall. In his retirement he spent his time helping and enjoying his family or riding his Harley Davidson.
