Sandra K. Maggard
October 1st, 1961 - March 18th, 2021
Sandra "Sandy" Maggard was born into Bernie and Mary Hall's loving home on October 1, 1961. Her childhood was spent in Milan, MI but Nicholasville, KY is where she made a home. Sandy radiated love and light; it is hard to imagine a happy holiday without the warmth of her spirit or her home cooked meals. She was a generous caretaker, always going beyond what was necessary for those she loved. Sundays she could be found cheering on her Green Bay Packers, drawing inspiration from world class chef recipes, or gossiping with her sister and best friend Patricia King. A pillar of strength, you could count on her for a joke or witty remark in the hardest of situations to lighten the mood and brighten spirits. She left the world far too soon on March 18, 2021 to join her parents and two older brothers, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. While we will miss her fiercely, we hope she is finally receiving all the peace and grace she deserves. Sandy leaves behind her husband of over thirty years Wayne Maggard, two children Janet (Josh) Cooper and Dustin (Brandy) Maggard, nine grandchildren: Bella, Ben, Gracie, Jackson, Gabby, Isaiah, Jordan, Ryder, and Braxton, as well as her siblings, Thelma (James) Wallen, Lester (Jacie) Hall, Brenda (Bob) Denham, Sharon (Damien) de St. Aubin. Her memorial service will be held at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing on Saturday 4/10 at 4:00pm with service at 5:00pm.
