Hugo L. DiLorenzo, age 90, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Schenectady, New York, passed away on April 22, 2011. He was born on November 23, 1920 in Schenectady, NY and was a foreman with the American Locomotive Company for 30 years. Hugo moved to North Port two years ago. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Constance; a daughter, Deborah (David) Carp of North Port, Florida; two sisters, Jean DiLorenzo and Ida Ellis both of Schenectady, New York. He also leaves behind five granddaughters, Christina (Michael) McGuire, Erin (Daniel) Lafar-Taylor, Kari Herringshaw, Dawn Kirby, Penny Wilkes and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory in 1978 and three brothers, Vincent, Frank and Dominick. Service and burial will be held at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Schenectady, New York at a later date. Farley Funeral Home in North Port, Florida is handling the arrangements.
