Kendall "Ken" Edward Bocard Jr.

Versailles - Kendall Edward Bocard, Jr., 79, passed away Wednesday June 23, 2021 in Lexington. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky on March 29, 1942 to the late Kendall Edward Sr. and Ruth Mahan Bocard. He played football for the University of Kentucky, a member of the "Thin Thirty” team, and the Ashland Tomcats including their 1958 undefeated season. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Shipp Bocard. Survivors include two sons, Derek (Chelsea) Bocard, of Lexington, Ashton (Karen) Bocard, of Versailles, grandson, Santiago Bocard, sisters, Judy Thomas, Mary Lee (John) Humphrey, Norma Thompson and brother, Warren Bocard, all of Ashland. A Life Celebration Service will be Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 3PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Family and friends gathering will follow from 3:30 until 5:30 pm.
