Nathan H. Brewster, 86, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 24, 1936 to the late Verna Burns Brewster and Nathan Brewster. Mr. Brewster was a veteran of the US Army and retired with a rank as major. He worked as an engineer for General Dynamics. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Jana (Tommy) Welch, Jamie (Mike) Shaw; son, Dave (Judi) Brewster; sister, Verna Dean; grandchildren, Nick Brewster, Brian Brewster, Josh Welch, Karie Benningfield, Hailey Westbrook, Lauren Mulligan, Taylor Stano, Kendra Meier; and great grandchildren, Payton Brewster, Riley Brewster, Colton Welch, Paisley Welch, Kit Benningfield and Sadie Benningfield. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
