Mary Margaret “Margie” Meyerhoff, 82, passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2010 in Venice, Florida. She was born on November 19, 1927 in Delaware, Ohio. She attended Ohio State University at Columbus, Ohio. Married in 1949, Margie was beloved wife of the late Jack Meyerhoff for 60 years. After moving to Venice in 1981, Margie volunteered at The Ronald Hanson Medical Library and Rotaryanns. A lifelong Christian, she was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, Venice. Margie was an avid golfer and world traveler. She was the loving mother of Keith, Greg, and Todd Meyerhoff and Debbie Meloy; joyful grandmother of Kyle Meyerhoff and Katie Meloy; caring sister to Bill Williams and the late Erdine Hope; and loving daughter, aunt, and friend to many. Remembrances may be made in her memory to The Ronald Hanson Medical Library, Venice Regional Medical Center or Grace United Methodist Church. Services to be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 17th at 2:00 pm. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
