Robert Earl Proffitt

Robert Earl Proffitt, 66, the husband of Debra Rogers Proffitt, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Born September 16, 1957, in Whitley County, Kentucky, Robert was the son of the late Charlie and Daisy Whitaker Proffitt. In addition to his loving wife Debra Proffitt of Versailles, Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Douglas Proffitt and Jonathan Kyle Proffitt, both of Jessamine County; his sister, Joyce Proffitt of Lexington; sister-in-law, Sandy Proffitt; brothers, Estill Proffitt of Lawrenceburg and Ronnie (Pam) Proffitt of Versailles; and a brother-in-law, Jim Hall. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Daisy Whitaker Proffitt; a sister, Sue Hall; sister-in-law, Lorene Proffitt; and his brothers, Ray Proffitt and Orville Proffitt. A Funeral Service will be held 6:00p, Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Journey Church in Versailles, Kentucky, with Rev. Randy Nation officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00p until the time of service on Tuesday, at Journey Church. Burial will be private at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to Journey Church, 320 Hope Lane, Versailles, KY 40383.
