Patricia Helen Terry died Monday morning at Doctor’s Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Patricia was born in Toledo in 1940 to Rosalie and Cleotis McIntosh, one of thirteen children. She graduated from the Toledo University and taught in the Toledo Public Schools until her retirement in 2000. Upon retirement, Patricia and her husband of 45 years, James Kent Terry, moved to Venice, FL. Patricia loved being with her grandchildren, playing golf, reading, and enjoying the beautiful Florida beaches. She made many wonderful memories with her family and friends. Patricia will be remembered with great love by those whose lives she touched for her enthusiasm for life and for her kindness and great generosity. She gave much of her time to helping others including her volunteer work with Our Mother’s House and Meals on Wheels. Surviving are her husband, James; sons Jim (Bernadette) of Perrysburg, OH, and David (Linda) of St. Paul, MN; daughter Linda (Keith) of Commerce, MI; and grandchildren Hunter, Leah, Jack, Hayden and Ryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, October 17, 2008 at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice. Interment will follow in the Epiphany Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
