Crown Cremation Services - Tualatin

I am a employee of Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. I have been in the Funeral Business over 20 years. I recently lost my older brother, Steven. He passed peacefully at our family home in Portland, so I made the Funeral arrangements through my sister location in Tualatin. I have never met or spoke to any of the Funeral Directors or Administrators until now, they were all so wonderful. So surreal to be on the other side making arrangements, it was like I had never done this before, instead of me helping the family, it was now them helping me get through this unbelievable grief. Bruce was the Funeral Director that met with me, he actually works at our Portland location but agreed to meet with me because there was no one available to meet with me on the day I needed. All I can say is WOW, even though he knew I was an employee and probably thought I knew what to expect, he took me step by step through the process, with so much empathy, kindness and patience, he is truly a 5 star Funeral Director and we are so lucky to have him as part of our team. I viewed my brother the next day and the care team that prepared him in the clothes and items I provided did so awesome. The room was soft lighting and a candle was lite. He looked so peaceful and they did everything I requested. This gave me so much closure and the peace I needed to get through this hard time, I give them 5 stars. I give this rating not because I'm employee but because this is truly how they treat every family. I could not work for a company that did not give the up most quality of care, because for me and my fellow teammates, it is all about the family. I am so proud to work for Musgrove's because I know we give this kind of quality care to all our families. Thank you

The Crown staff were compassionate in helping me honor my father’s wishes from across the country. From talking with me on the Sunday after he passed away, through assisting me with obtaining the death certificates, and finally waiting for us to make it from the airport on a rainy afternoon to collect his ashes, they were just what we needed.

Truly wonderful service from start to finish. Everyone we spoke with at Crown was compassionate and patient, we had no idea what we were doing! I cannot thank you enough.
