We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations.
Our mission is to help walk our community through times of grief and provide beautiful and meaningful services to every family that walks through our doors. We are proud that Fort Atkinson families continue to trust us to take care of their loved ones.

We are here to help you with memorialization and the planning of life celebration services, ensuring that each tribute uniquely reflects the life it honors. As Veterans Service Specialists, we also provide dedicated services to honor the memory of those who have served our nation.

- Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal of your loved one as well as local transportation to the cemetery for burial (within 25 miles).
- Care of your loved one until burial is complete. Family not present with timing at the discretion of the funeral home.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, police escort to the gravesite, and more - at additional charge.
