Adeltrude "Del" Harmene Barlage, 99 of Proctor died Friday, April 11, 2014 in Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth. She was born June 3, 1914 in Hancock, Minn. to Alexander and Sophia Hamilton. Del grew up in Graceville, Minn. and attended St. Marys Academy. On December 30, 1932 Del married Robert Barlage in Wadena and they made their home in Graceville. In 1945 they moved to Duluth where Del worked at JC Penney. In 1955 they moved to Proctor where Del worked at Wedlunds Bakery and later in food service at a former downtown Duluth bank. Del was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Proctor, the Proctor Women of the Moose, and the Munger Seniors Group. Del was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Robert; sister, Eileen Fligge; and son-in-law, Bill Lindgren. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Lindgren of Coon Rapids; son, Richard (Margaret) Barlage of Esko; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren. Memorial Services were held onSaturday, May 3, 2014 in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Proctor. Inurnment was in Oneota Cemetery, Duluth. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Friends of Animals, 1418 Hwy. 33 S., Cloquet, MN 55720. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
