Adlay “Popman” Hedrick, 93, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Heartland Health & Rehab. He is survived by his only child, Deborah Hedrick; one grandson, Travis “Rugg” Perdue; one great-grandchild, Aiden Nathaniel Perdue; and three others he loved as his own, Susan Templeton Noon, Stephen Templeton and Ken Templeton. He had several special friends that were consistent in his life, John Noon, Krista Templeton, Crissy Templeton, Angie and Mike Mitchell, Edna Tinsley and David and Debbie Hensley. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Virginia Memorial Park with Chaplain Julie Flores officiating. Military honors will be performed by American Legion Post-16 of Lynchburg. Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Wiggington Road Chapel, 385-8900, is serving the family.
