Alan Lark Jones
December 19th, 1947 - September 16th, 2022
Alan Lark Jones, 74, of Forest, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at his home after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife Susan Hayden Jones and his former wife, Pamela R. Hall. Born December 19, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Mack and Marjorie Jones. Alan proudly served in the United States Navy and retired from BWXT. In addition to his wife, Susan, Alan is survived by one son, Benjamin Jones (Sarah) of Lynchburg; one daughter, Natalie Jones of Hurt, VA; one stepson; Patrick Dempsey of Hendersonville, NC; one stepdaughter, Molly Hafner (Joey) of Lovettsville, VA; two brothers, Kenny Jones (Mary) of New Lebanon, OH and Rob Jones (Tracey) and their families, of Lebanon, OH; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A visitation and reception will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11-12 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Virginia Memorial Park.
