Alejandro Alvarado Perea passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2020 at the age of 17. Alejandro is survived by his parents Perla Alvarado and Jesus Perea, his sisters Nancy Perea, Vivianna Perea, aunts Jessica Alvarado and Krystal Alvarado, uncles Hector Barraza, Alejandro Miranda, and his grandmother Olivia Nunez, his grandfather Panfilo Perea. He is predeceased by his grandmother Julia Perea and aunt Nancy Perea. Alejandro was born in Denver on February 10, 2003. He attended Green Mountain High School. Alejandro was a devoted athlete, and was working hard towards his grandest aspiration of being an international boxing champion and participating in the Olympics. He dedicated his free time to training youth in the sport of boxing. Alejandro enjoyed working out, camping, going on new adventures in the great outdoors. Above all he loved connecting with people from a wide gamut of backgrounds, he loved diversity and having deep conversations while offering encouraging and sincere advice where it was needed. His sincere and wise words touched many and his larger than life personality captivated. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A memorial and viewing service is scheduled to take place Thursday the 18th of September from 5 to 8 pm at Romero Family Funeral Home located at 4750 Tejon St. Denver, CO. There will be another viewing for one hour at 10 am Friday the 19th of September at St Cajetan's Church located at 299 S Raleigh St. Denver, CO. followed by mass service that will commence at 11 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Romero Family Funeral Home 4750 Tejon St. Denver, CO.
