Alex Theobald

Alex Theobald 26th May 1931 to 10th March 2017 Alex was born in Fazley Tamworth and lived a full and varied life coming from nothing as one of seven and an orphan at the age of 9 months to becoming a self-made business man all by the age of 50. His strong will and determination let him achieve every goal he had set and more. He is survived by Helen his wife, 4 children and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren who have all been influenced and supported by him throughout their lives. He started life in West Bromwich being brought up by his aunt and uncle where he met is first Wife Dorothy and quickly developed the farming enterprise which enabled them to move to New Farm, Cadeby where they made their home, family idyll, friends and farming business. The business thrived and developed and retirement was achieved at an age where Alex had time to enjoy his hard work. When his wife Dorothy passed away Alex looked to move to America which he had always loved and enjoyed holidays and this is where he met and married Helen and a new chapter of his life began where the two enjoyed the benefits of the sunshine of Florida and the home coming of England. He loved to play golf and spend his days with friends and family both in the US and England. He made his mark, he reached his goals, his life was good and blessed and now he goes to a better place where he can have his final rest. Now we have to say goodbye, though we'll miss him day by day but understand his time had come to see him on his way.
