Alexander Gardner"A.G." Embry, 95, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019. A.G. was born on April 13, 1923, in Calcis, Alabama and moved to this area from Miami, FL in 1980. A.G. will be sorely missed and remembered by his family and friends. He was a loving father and grandfather. A.G. proudly served his country in the US Air Force during WWII. He loved the game of golf and gardening. A.G. is survived by his daughter, Tina (Robert) Robinson, Belleview, FL, sons, Alex (Linda) Embry, Jr., Miami, FL, Darryl (Audrey) Embry, Jacksonville, AR, sister, Wadene Justice, Birmingham, AL, ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alene (Teane), of 76 years. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
