Alexander P. McConkey

WINTER HAVEN - Alexander P. McConkey of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on October 25, 2014. He was 90. He was born on March 18, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio to Alexander and Mary Kemp McConkey. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor in the Chemicals industry, as well as a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, being stationed at several locations overseas. Alexander was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn McConkey and he is survived by his children, Alex P. McConkey and his wife, Kathi of Ashtabula, Ohio, Alexis Putney and her husband William of Mentor, Ohio, Kathleen Hall and her husband Jeffery of Riverview, Florida; dear friend, Reba Martin of Winter Haven, Florida; fourteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. The family will have a private service and inurnment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
