WEST COLUMBIA-Graveside services for Alice Faye Boone, 66, of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Leo Senn and Chaplain Chuck Byrd will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Mrs. Boone died Friday, September 13, 2013. Born in South Congaree, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hoyt Kyzer and Glady Sturkie Kyzer Porter. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She had retired as a Supervisor from South Carolina Highway Department in Records and Registration. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Timothy "Tim" Boone of West Columbia; daughter, Tammy Faye Boone Willard (Joseph Thomas) of Pelion; sons, Timothy "Timmy" Wayne Boone (Janet Ward) of Leesville and Bradley "Brad" Jourdan Sumter Boone (Jennifer Bechtel) of Gaston; six grandchildren, Diana Christine Clark, Chelsea Nicole Miles, Taylor Ann Boone, Josiah Timothy Willard, Benjamin Thomas Willard and Brayson Zane Boone; one great-grandson, Kent Charles Clark; sister, Mary Stroman of Pelion; and brothers, Alvin Ray Kyzer (Diane) of Rock Hill, SC and Albert Hoyt Kyzer (Charlotte) of Lake City, FL. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Addison.
