Alice Earlene Schmus, 86, of Venice, FL, formerly of Thornport, OH, passed away on June 10, 2018. Alice was born on May 21, 1932 in Millersport, OH to Earl and Leona Patterson Copper. Alice worked in retail, retiring in 1995 and moving to Florida in 2016. Survivors include her children, Diana (Larry) Magrie of FL, Earl (January) Schmus of FL, Carl (Michelle) Schmus of OH; and Richard (Jennifer) Schmus of AZ; grandchildren, Victoria (Scott) Mclean of MI, Sara David of FL, Amanda (David Kisovic) Magrie of FL, Justin Schmus of OH, Lauren (Nat Dunne) Schmus of Australia, Brittny Nutter of OH, Carl Schmus Jr. of OH, Calista Schmus of AZ, and Lukas Schmus of AZ; great grandchildren Damon and Ambyr Mclean of MI and Layne Kisovic of FL; sisters Elizabeth (Richard) Long of IL and Mary (Richard) Audette of FL; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 11AM at Frazeyburg Cemetery in Frazeyburg, OH. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
