WEST COLUMBIA-A memorial service for Amanda I. Belair Anderson, 72, of West Columbia will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073. The Reverend Harold G. Vandeveer will officiate. The family will greet friends after the service. Mrs. Anderson died on Friday, May 23, 2014. Born in Charlotte, NC on August 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John Albert Belair and Amanda Springs Belair Warren and step-father, Henry Lester Warren. Formerly of Hampton, VA, she had been a local resident here since 2004. She retired from MPRI Military Contracting Company. She was a member of Civil Air Patrol, a USAF auxiliary, for nearly 60 years. She is survived by her husband, David S. Friedenberg of West Columbia; daughter, Gina Mezzanotte of Charlotte, NC; sons, Darrell Scott Brown and Michael Todd Anderson (Janet) of Mission Viejo, CA; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
