Andrew Gerard Stahl, age 25, of Punta Gorda, died in a car accident early Wednesday morning, January 16, 2008. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and Patricia Stahl on March 2, 1982. He grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan where he attended Henry Ford II High School. He moved to Florida in 1997 and graduated from Venice High School in 2000. He was married to on December 18, 2005. He left behind his beloved wife Liza, his daughter, Meghan, his older brother, Michael, his older sisters Amanda and Meg, his younger brothers Alex and Aaron, his parents Michael and Patricia, his Nana, Shirley Bogus, his niece Lindsey and his nephews Zach, Grant, Kevin, George and Jack. He gave and received joy through fishing, golfing, playing guitar and watching and playing football. But nothing gave Drew more joy than his friends and his family. Drew had a spark in him. An ability to warm hearts and soften the frowns of every person he met. He was warm, loving, generous, kind and so very funny. He would do anything for a laugh. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00AM at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. Burial will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, Florida. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
