Andy Jon Colucci was born February 19, 1965, in Portland, Oregon, although he was raised in Boring, Oregon (a name Andy loved to laugh at). His life is celebrated through his pride-and-joy children Daniel and Lizzy Colucci, his beloved mother JoAnn Nelson, his father Dennis Puderbaugh, the love of his life of 17 years Elizabeth Waldrop, his stepchildren Taylor and Sarah Waldrop, his siblings Timothy R. Puderbaugh, Shelley L. Vanderpoel, Mitchell J. Nelson, Tina M. Stanfill, Robert W. Nelson, 11 nieces and nephews, and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews. Though Andy loved the West Coast, he lived in many places through his distinguished 20-year Air Force career. Andy’s passion was service to others, love for his family and friends, and dedication to ACE Hardware. He was the first call people made when they had home and garden problems that needed unconventional solutions. His favorite part of the day was coming home to his love, Elizabeth, and his four-legged son, Sinatra. Andy poured his soul into his garden where he cultivated peppers into hot sauces and barbecue sauces that he would share with anyone with open hands and a hungry stomach. Andy also spent his evenings feeding his birds in the yard and reading the newest book in his collection. He was a giver, a listener, and a selfless man loved by an entire neighborhood, the Hopkins community, and his family. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to SHARE at Shepherd Center. Since 2007, SHARE has provided rehabilitation for military veterans, service members, and first responders who are ready to accept help and healing for their daily struggle with traumatic brain injuries and mental health concerns. Donations can be made at Brain Injury & TBI Treatment for Military Veterans | Shepherd Center https://give.shepherd.org/site/Donation2?df_id=1940&1940.donation=form1&mfc_pref=T A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 9th at 10am at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229. For those unable to attend, the service will be streaming live via the followiing link: https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/5206303968

We Entrusted Andy Colucci's Care To

Greenlawn Memorial Park

Greenlawn Memorial Park

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
