Angelo F. Antonucci, age 80 of North Port, Florida, passed away on May 11, 2011. He was born on November 5, 1930 in New Haven, Connecticut. Angelo worked for Pirelli-Armstrong Tires for 42 years and after his retirement he moved to Venice in 1992. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Navy Reserves. He was also a member of the Harbor Isles Veterans Club and member of San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port. Angelo is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marie; a son, Richard (Paula) Antonucci of North Haven, Connecticut; two daughters, Donna (Steve) Wilson of Burnsville, North Carolina, Angela Antonucci of Milford, Connecticut and two sisters, Eleanor Antonucci and Anna Dagostino both of North Haven, Connecticut. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Richard Antonucci, Nicole Antonucci and Harry Wilson. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at San Pedro Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held later at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
