Anita Lucile Hudson

Anita Lucile Hudson, 74, died August 7, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born January 24, 1947 to George Lynn and Edna Margaret (Stevenson) Sions in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Anita went to Higgins High School and graduated in 1965. She worked in banking for all her working career. Anita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed squaredancing, and vacationing with family and loved ones. She also enjoyed fishing, and playing card games. Anita committed her life to her God and her family. She never met a stranger, and she always made them feel welcomed and loved. Her bright smile and infectious laughter has been instilled in our hearts forever. Anita served and prayed over her church, family, and friends, and brought many to know Jesus.The world was a brighter place with her in it. She will forever be missed by many.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Steinle; and other beloved family members.Anita is survived by her husband, John Hudson; son, Curtis (Kim) Steinle; daughter, Ronita (James) Rowe; stepdaughter, Kirstin (Jason) James; eight grandchildren, Rene (Aaron) Luker, Amber (Ryan) Efimoff, Brandon Steinle (Tara Leonard), Daniel Rowe, Olivia Rowe, Paris Williams, Kaitlyn Williams, and Madeline James; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Luker, Tessa Luker, and Piper Efimoff; her brother, Walt Montgomery; her brother-in-love, Ronald (Sandy) Steinle; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.Memorial Service, 10:00AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021, Cross Timbers Church, 1119 US-377, Argyle, Texas 76226.
