Anna Mary Shealy Adams WEST COLUMBIA—A memorial service for Anna Mary Shealy Adams, 86, of West Columbia will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, West Columbia. Officiating will be Pastor Lance Henderson. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia will be assisting the family. Mrs. Adams passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Born in Columbia, she was the wife of the late Raymond Reynolds Adams and the daughter of the late Ethel Shealy Byrd. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughter, Patsy "Trish" Adams Matthey of Irmo, her son, Raymond Leo (Carolyn) Adams of Columbia; two grandchildren, Angie (Eric) Greenwood of Irmo and Chip (Meredith) Adams of Charleston; four great-grandchildren; brother, Hart C. "Billy" Byrd, Jr. of White Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1500 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169.
