Annie Lee (Bibbens) Robinson was born in Rayville, LA to the late Aaron Bibben, Sr and Maude Bibbens. Annie was the youngest of four children. She grew up in Rayville and attended Rayville Rosenwalt School. Annie accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age at the Macedonia Baptist Church under the pastoral ship of the late Rev. M.C. Cooper. Annie married the love of her life Eddie Robinson in June 1954, and shortly after they came to the Monterey Peninsula and settled in Seaside. Upon her arrival to Seaside she joined the friendship Baptist Church. Annie was a homemaker when her children were young. Later she went to school and got her CNA Certificate. She began working for Del Monte Rest Home, in Pacific Grove as a CNA and remains until she moved to Sparks, Nevada. Annie united with the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sparks and was a faithful member until she became ill and could not attend. During her stay at the Hawthorne Rehabilitation Center, her husband would wheel her to the church service every Sunday. Annie was a very good cook and was known for her jelly cakes, homemade biscuits, coconut and sweet potato pies. Annie was proceeded in death by her parents, Aaron and Maude Bibbens, a son Charles Ray Robinson, a great-grandson Treyvon Lakeith McKinney, a sister Rosie Lee Rivers and a brother Charles Bibbens Sr. Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband Eddie Robinson of 59 years, one daughter Jackie Robinson, four sons Eddie Moseley(Miranda), Odell Robinson, Raymond Robinson, Ronnie Robinson and one brother Aaron Bibbens Jr. Sixteen grandchildren: Ronald, Ronnie Jr., Lakisha, Niesha, Danielle, Nittaya, Tianna, Camisha, Dominaca, Shenatha, Odell Jr, Eddie Jr, Jimmy, Edward and Shulena. Seventeen great grandchildren, two brother-in-laws, three sister-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. Special acknowledgement to Annie's loving care giver sister Jennie Howze, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sledge for everything you have done. We consider you to be part of the Robinson family. Annie will truly be missed by all those who knew her.

For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
