90 Years of Honored Traditions & Diverse Memorial Services
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park.
For 90 years, the Mission Memorial Park has been dedicated to providing families in our community an exceptional level of service to ensure their final arrangements will be as unique as their loved ones.
With ocean views, our beautiful grounds include Catholic, Muslim, and Jewish sections, Masonic and veterans gardens and a mausoleum. From ground burial to cremation memorialization, we provide a wide variety of options to meet your needs. - Care of your loved one until burial is complete. Date and time of burial determined by the funeral director.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
