Anthony V. Klepaida

Anthony V. Klepaida "Tony", 89, passed away peacefully at home in Saint Paul on October 28, 2017 surrounded by family. Tony proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a longtime employee at Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad as a locomotive engineer. He lived life to the fullest fishing, hunting, reading, gardening, baking bread, traveling, and playing cards. Preceded in death by brothers Joseph, John, Peter and Edward, and sisters Mary, Sister Helen Anne, and Rose. Survived by beloved wife of 62 years Josephine "Jo" Marzitelli; children Mary Elizabeth (Michael) Berglund, Edward (Sonja) Klepaida, Anne Marie (Rick) Sassor, and David (Barbara Paulson) Klepaida; grandchildren Anthony (Blenda Chiu) Berglund, Daniel Klepaida, Zachary Berglund, Katelyn Klepaida, Hunter Sassor, Dominic Sassor, and great grandchild Jude Laine; sisters Monica Polnik, and Emily Troje; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to HealthEast Hospice for their care and attention, in particular Amy, Karen, and Rosie.
