Willwerscheid Funeral Home & Cremation Service was founded in 1886 by John Adam Willwerscheid, a second generation American and father of eight. While we've seen many changes since those days, one thing has remained the same - our commitment to serving our Saint Paul neighbors. - Removal and local transportation of your loved one to the crematory (within five county metro service area).
- Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
- Cremation process and return of ashes.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements, and private family viewing.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.

Burial Services Starting At

- Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal of your loved one as well as local transportation to the cemetery for burial (within five county metro service area).
- Care of your loved one until burial is complete. Family not present with timing at the discretion of the funeral home.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.

The minute we walked through the door, we were treated with kindness. I really appreciated how they listened to what I wanted and only made suggestions if needed. That gave me peace of mind. Every detail was treated as important.
We gave a memorial service in St. Paul and the family celebration service in Florida.
Willwerscheid staff helped with whatever we needed to make the transition claiming.
They asked my budget and stayed within my request, even going below budget and yet providing so much more than expected.
Our Florida experience did not compare to what was given to us at Willerscheid.
We were able to contact them any time with any questions. I am still amazed at the level of comfort and compassion we received.
Somehow, they made a very painful situation a time to pleasantly remember.
I would recommend their service to anyone, knowing they are trustworthy and extremely professional.
To ALL the STAFF: excellent, excellent service.

My family has been going here for years. I recently had to plan a funeral for my first time and I'm glad we went with them.
When I went there they were very informative and walked me through the process. They helped me pick out the things we needed, but also made suggestions on how to watch the money. I NEVER felt rushed or pressured in any way and they were always professional.
They are nothing but kind and extremely considerate! I truly believe they really did and do care about us! ❤
