Anthony Michael Stagg

Anthony Michael Stagg, 28, died in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 15, 2017. He was a two-year resident of Colorado Springs, previously of the Bay area for twenty-six years. He worked as the office management director of Laudisio Restaurant.Anthony was born on September 9, 1988 in Grand Cayman Island, British West Indies to Michael Gene and Janine Elizabeth (Serpe) Stagg. He was born in the middle of Hurricane Gilbert, a category 5 hurricane, and was evacuated from the hospital to a hurricane shelter at two days old, where the roof blew off and crushed his bassinet a moment before. He attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2006-2008, and then the Diablo Valley College in Concord, California from 2008-2010. He was in the University of California, Berkeley Gifted Student Program, as well as the Stanford University Summer Program for high school students.He is survived by his mother, Janine Elizabeth Serpe Stagg of Orinda, California; his father, Michael G.
