Archie "Joe" William Caves

Archie W. Caves (AKA) Joe, passed away on April 14, 2022. Born October 11, 1948 in Radford, Virginia. My brother Archie, “Joe”….. A graduate of Northeast High School, St. Petersburg, Florida. Preceded in death by parents, Virginia and Howard, brothers Carl, Herman, James and sister Nancy. Moved to Florida from Virginia at the age of 10. He worked at Sambos Restaurant on 4th street North as a Chef in St. Petersburg for many years back in the 70’s. He would dress up in the Tiger Costume on occasion and go around and greet the customers. He donned a Clown costume for the Auburndale Race Track. He also played Santa at different Living Facilities and for children. Hobbies included, fishing, going to the races in Auburndale, watching nascar, football, baseball. He loved animals. He would sit outside and put peanuts on the rail around the porch for the squirrels and birds. He loved to dog sit for friends. In loved life. He was a great man. He will be missed. Survived by sisters, Vickie (Ft. Myers, Florida), Becky (Caves) Howell, Texas and brother David Caves, Largo. Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews
