I entrusted Romero Funeral Home with my son's aftercare. I was impressed with the warm caring staff. My aftercare specialist Unique made the process easy and walked me through every step. I am out of State and everything was done by phone and email. They picked him up and checked on him for viewing. I was so happy I was able to see him one last time. The Romero staff accommodated his Rockstar service and played his band's music. He sang at his own service. I was informed of the date he was to be cremated and when he was ready to come home. I recommend Romero's for your loved one's aftercare needs!

Our first meeting with Angelica went well, and I was told to send over my brother’s obituary so it could be posted right away—which I did immediately. Two days went by with no response, and the obituary was still not posted. I followed up via email and finally received a reply that simply said, “His obituary is up. Here’s the link.” I then sent another email with a question, and unfortunately, never received a response. After waiting several more days, I followed up again and ended up having to call and ask to speak with someone else. Only then did I receive a reply—and that email included a comment stating, “I heard you called and were upset,” which made me feel dismissed and uncomfortable. At that point, I truly regretted choosing this funeral home. But since everything had already been paid for and our out-of-town family had made travel plans for the Saturday service, I felt I had to move forward. The night before the service, I was filled with anxiety. I didn’t feel like the funeral director had been responsive or kind, and I was concerned about how that might affect the service. Then we met Raul—and everything changed. Raul was an absolute blessing. From the moment we arrived, he put us at ease. He was kind, genuine, patient, and extremely professional. He guided us through the entire process with compassion, and his calming presence made a world of difference. One person can truly change an experience—and Raul did that for us. The positive far outweighed the negative. My family couldn’t stop speaking highly of him, and I know my brother would have been proud of the beautiful and memorable service we were able to have. Thank you, Raul. You helped us through one of the hardest days of our lives, and we are forever grateful.

Cremation Society of Minnesota made arrangements easy both before and after my husband’s death. We had prepaid several years ago for all the services and the urn and there were no unexpected charges at the time of death. CSM also arranged for official death certificates to be issued, published an obituary on their website, and helped me with the newspaper obituaries. The staff was very pleasant to work with and everything that needed to happen, from the time of death to when I picked up the urn, was done with empathy and efficiency. I have not used their grief counseling services but that is a nice benefit too.

When my husband passed away, Johnnie was our director. We could not have been happier with his attention and availability and love that he put into every detail -from the honor guard, the urn choice, to just being there for every question and suggestion we had. Patricia was wonderful and caring. The results were a service that many told us was the best they had ever been to. Thank you!
