Ardith Joan Poole

Ardith Joan Poole, age 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully in Mesa, Arizona on July 28, 2017. Ardith is survived by her husband Roger Poole and would have been married 64 years in December 2017. She is also survived by her three children Pamela Prater (Carlos), Rocky Poole (Carmen), Tami Reynolds (Alan), 8 grandchildren Erica Prater, Lindsay Mahoney (Sean), Daniel Prater, Matthew Poole (Ariel), Erin Rupp (Pete), Kelly Ostroski, Kelsey Reynolds, Austin Reynolds, two great grandchildren Aaliyah Lovato, Bryson Poole, brother Robert Maat (Lona) and numerous nieces and nephews. Ardith was born on February 21, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating high school, she moved to Mesa, Arizona where she met her husband Roger. She was employed by Mesa Public Schools during her professional career until she retired in 1987. Ardith retired with her husband to Payson where they spent over 20 years of a wonderful retired life. They moved back to Mesa, Arizona in 2012 to be closer to their children. Services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00am at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. McDonald, Mesa, Arizona 85201. We will be gathering afterward to remember the life of Ardith at Oakwood Room - Sunland Village East, 2615 S. Farnsworth Drive, Mesa, Arizona 85209.
