If you are looking for a mortuary —you probably didn’t want to be….choose this one. It is professional and welcoming. It isn’t fake and plastic. The location is quiet and lovely. It’s old school in the way a hometown business should be. Six weeks ago my husband died. Had used Meldrums for other family members, and they were great then but it was so different that it was my spouse. I was all over the place and Kathleen walked me through every single thing I had to do. I’m not just talking at the mortuary for all the business part of it.. I am talking the visitation, the church, the cemetery. I can’t recommend highly enough the detail, love and care they gave, not only for me but the ENTIRE family. It’s a tough time when you need a mortuary. Choose Meldrums ❤️

Losing a loved one can be quite traumatic. Especially having to make the arrangements for their interment and not knowing where to begin! When I was referred to Meldrum , I honestly did not know what to expect. One thing I will say is I sincerely hope that Meldrum knows what they have in Kathleen Kauffman. kathleen in my opinion went above and beyond the call. I will forever be thankful for the professionalism and compassion that was shown to me throughout this trying time. Meldrum will always have a special place for n my heart.

The people I dealt with there were very nice, understanding, and I am betting they all took grief counseling, because they seemed to say all the right things that made me feel better about my mothers death. When I went to retrieve her ashes, I was very impressed with the facilities. Very appropriate for mortuary. The payment process process went seamlessly, and was very rarely brought up. My mother’s cremation and helping me through a difficult time were the most important things to them.
