WEST COLUMBIA: Funeral service for Arminda C. Pulliam, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Dr. Tommy Pillow. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Pulliam passed away, Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Born in Colombia, South America, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Castillo and Mercedes Gomez Castillo. She graduated from college in Colombia and obtained her teaching certification. She worked as an elementary school teacher until she married her late husband, Walter Lee Pulliam. Mrs. Pulliam left behind one child, Victor Lee Pulliam (Donna Pulliam); three grandchildren, Sherry Isenhoward, Kenneth Isenhoward, Jr. (Tammy) and Kimberly Holbrook; three great grandchildren, Amber Alexander, Mckayla Isenhoward and Laura Holbrook; two step-great grandchildren, Mary and Chris Lindler. She loved her family and enjoyed life.
