Sargent Major Arnold W. Fisher, USA, (Ret; 1955-1985), 76, a former member of the 82nd Airborne Division and Team Photographer, "The Golden Knights" (1967-1970), of Lexington, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 following a stroke. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myra Fisher; daughter, Denise; and son, Arnold Fisher III. He was survived by his loving wife, Naomi Cantrell Fisher; his daughter, Dorothy Marsil and son-in-law Wade Marsil; daughter, Kathleen Fisher Belcastro and son-in-law, Joseph Belcastro; daughter, Dorothy Braun and son-in-law, Scott Braun; son, Arnold Fisher, Jr.; stepson, Greg Cantrell and daughter-in-law, Lisa Cantrell; stepson, Jeff Cantrell and daughter-in-law, Pam Hahn; and grandchildren, Zachary and Gavin Marsil, Jasen Braun, and Jonathan Fisher. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 4720 Augusta Road Lexington, SC 29073. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association 520 Gervais St., Ste. 300, Columbia, SC 29201 or The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
